Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a pricket at the top surrounded by an elegant circular pierced gallery. The column below showcases tapering lines and is adorned with elegant carved foliage. This section is resting on a tripartite base carved with campanula style motifs, a guilloche frieze and rais-de-cœurs. Mounted on petite scrolling feet, this pair of Italian metal candlesticks from the 19th century will make for a refined addition to any home, perhaps displayed in a living room on a console table, a commode or a buffet.
