Hand-thrown from warm reddish-brown terracotta, the pitcher has a bulbous form with a softly flared spout and generous handle, reflecting its rustic, utilitarian roots.
The surface is hand-decorated in the traditional faïence slipware style, with dynamic swirls of earthy brown, ochre, green, and black glazes. Across the front, the words “Les Uravis” are inscribed in raised script — possibly referencing a family name, small village, or artisan mark.
