It opens with a drawer on the front and rests on four sheathed legs ending in bronze sabots, connected by a shelf.
Its top, surrounded by brass, is covered with Havana-colored leather with gold-plated iron ornaments
Brass scrapers on the uprights.

Its lock works with its key.
